I should to have asked on that As it may to have been for a larger pack not in stock An ok couple of stops in for a mini restock ”
“ This is a full service Asian market in De Moines, Iowa . It has fresh produce sections with Asian vegetables. Also it has huge fish and seafood section that you can buy a variety of fishes. Many options of bakery , instant noodles, canned food , snacks , seasoning, etc Everything you can think of that you need to cook Asian dishes . Their roasted duck is pretty delicious. Roasted pork in crispy skin is average . Highly recommended to go for a visit if you have not been to one . ”
“ Just updating to add that their fresh kimchi, tucked in the back fridge to the right of the restaurant booth, is VERY good one of my favs. ”
“ Always enjoy my visits. I pickup something interesting every time I visit. I highly recommend this place ”
“ It's a grocery store with an amazing restaurant!! The pho is delicious! The crab Rangoon are perfect but my absolute favorite is the spring rolls with the rice paper and the cold noodles and basil... inexpensive and an excellent meal THEN you can shop the grocery store for ideas on how to make your own OR just pick up some great snacks, seasonings or sauces! ”
“ Great variety of meats and foods. Tried the prepackaged spring rolls and banh mi on the food cart near the entrance that are from the attached restaurant Pho 515. The spring rolls were amazing and the banh mi yummy. Edit: Just remembered that 50% of the customers weren't masking. Took one star off. ”
“ I flew in from San Francisco, California yesterday. Came here to see my daughter up for her kitchen for her college years here. Excellent choices for all your international Asian needs. They have everything you would find in SF Chinatown including how to set up your ancestral worshipping area! ”
“ I've been meaning to come here for awhile now, and I am SOOOOOO glad that I did! Even at 11:30 on a weekday, the parking lot was jam packed. I think this place gets a ton of business. Walking in, you're greeted by shiny waving fortune cats, fresh bread on a cart and international candy. The place is huge! There are tons and tons of obscure fresh vegetables and fruit, most of which you either 1) can't find anywhere else in Des Moines, or 2) if you can find it elsewhere, C Fresh has a nicer price. They have a massive box of fresh ginger for $0.99 per pound. They have durian and jackfruit, lychee, extra long green beans, all sorts of exotic raddish and cabbage. I swear I must have looked like I had dropped acid to go to the grocery store because I was slack-jawed with joy over all the stuff I was seeing. I also skipped, don't judge me. They have fresh and frozen meat and seafood, roasted ducks hanging by their necks, an entire cooked pig's head, all kinds of pickled things and gallon jars of kimchi, an entire row of nothing but different types of fried onions, I could go on and on and on. The best part though? There's a restaurant inside. The best part about the restaurant? It gave me hands down on the floor THE best pad Thai I have ever had in my entire life. There is no close second, not even from back in Los Angeles, and I say that with no hesitation. The portion was really big, but sometimes I have a hollow leg and today it was beating me over the head with itself. I ate the whole plate of pad Thai and I don't even feel bad about it. Everything that everyone around me had delivered to their table looked just as good and I can't wait to try more stuff here. This place is my new favorite thing. The end. ”
“ Your A and B are getting old, but you've managed to keep your C Fresh. What a cool grocery store! It has all kinds of businesses inside it, including a really great Vietnamese place which is better than most Viet restaurants. Prices are cheap and if you are looking for Asian Goods in Des Moines then this is definitely a cool place to come and shop. And even though I do think cleaning up air pollution is a priority, I hope we can manage to keep the Sea Fresh too. ”
